Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") is part of the Terms and Conditions governing your use of Pramaan.ai’s background verification services. By using our Services, you agree to adhere to this Policy. Please read this document carefully before making any purchase or requesting services.

1. Cancellation of Services

Once you have placed an order or subscribed to Pramaan.ai’s background verification services, your request is processed immediately, and we begin the verification process. As such, Pramaan.ai does not offer any cancellations for services once the order is placed or the verification process has commenced.

  • Cancellation of Service Before Initiation: If, for any reason, you wish to cancel the service before we begin the verification process, you may contact us immediately. In such cases, we will review the request and decide based on whether the background check has already been initiated.
  • Cancellation After Initiation: If the verification process has already started, the service cannot be canceled, and no further action will be taken on your cancellation request. Once the verification process begins, all services are non-refundable as per our Refund Policy.

2. Refund Policy

Pramaan.ai operates under a Zero Refund Policy. This means that once you have made a payment for any background verification services, no refunds will be provided, under any circumstances, for the following:

  • Completed Services: If the verification process has been completed, or if we have delivered any part of the background verification report, no refunds will be issued.
  • In-progress Services: If the background verification process is underway (i.e., if we have begun checking references, documents, or databases), no refund will be issued for cancellation requests or any changes made after initiation.
  • Non-delivery or Delayed Reports: We make every effort to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive verification services. However, due to external factors such as delays in receiving information from third-party sources, you acknowledge that no refunds will be issued in the event of delayed delivery of reports, unless specified otherwise by Pramaan.ai.
  • Client or Candidate Withdrawal: If a Client or Candidate decides to withdraw consent or discontinues participation in the verification process at any point, no refund will be issued.

3. Reasons for Non-Refundability

The primary reason for our Zero Refund Policy is that background verification services are personalized, and we begin processing requests immediately. Once we start the verification process or initiate checks, resources are committed, third-party services are engaged, and data is processed, making it impossible to offer a refund.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

In rare cases, Pramaan.ai may, at its sole discretion, provide a partial refund or credit under exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Technical Errors: If there is an error on our end (e.g., technical malfunction or failure to start the verification process) that prevents us from delivering the service within a reasonable timeframe, we may provide a refund or credit.
  • Incorrect Charges: In the case of incorrect billing or duplicate charges for the same service, we may review the situation and issue a refund as appropriate.

Refunds in these exceptional circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are at the sole discretion of Pramaan.ai.
